NEON Ireland Mission Statement
At NEON Ireland, we believe every neurodivergent child deserves an education built around who they are — not who the system expects them to be.
Founded by an occupational therapist and a Montessori teacher, we exist because too many neurodivergent children fall through the gaps: unable to thrive in mainstream settings, yet unable to access the specialist provision they need. We are here to close that gap.
Through our preschool and primary school, we provide a nurturing, regulation-first environment where neurodivergent children can feel safe, understood, and ready to learn. We draw on therapeutic expertise and child-led educational principles to support each child as a whole person — honouring their unique minds, their sensory needs, and their individual pace.
But our mission extends beyond the classroom. We are committed to building a better-informed community around neurodivergent children, offering guidance, classes, and support to the parents and educators who champion them every day. We actively connect and collaborate with neuro-affirming professionals across therapy, education, and beyond — because no single service can do this alone. It takes a shared community of understanding, expertise, and advocacy to truly support neurodivergent children and their families.
NEON Ireland stands for a world where neurodivergent children are not asked to mask, to manage, or to cope — but to belong.
